Way back in March, when I was in my observational drawing class, this was my second final project. However I hadn't been planning on him borrowing the drawing so I never got a picture of it when it was finished. So anyway the moral of this story is Kristy needs to photograph her work BEFORE the teacher takes it.
For this project we had to come up with a 'theme' or idea, mine was really simple, ignorance is bliss. Somehow the only people that really got it when I presented it were the stoner and the girl that speaks like four words of English.
What I found most amusing about that class was that the teacher said the two best students were myself and the girl that spoke like four words of English, and that our styles were so extremely different. Hers was much more feminine and mine was very 'rough'. In other words, I draw like a man ;D +10 points for me.
Oh and this took around 14 hours to do, all in ballpoint pen. The doll's face has about four layers of white out on it so it didn't photograph very well and doesn't look as good as it should, but overall I think it looks fairly nifty.
I'll get a better picture of this later, this one is sort of crap but it's what I have for now ;D
